Milan, 22 June 2023 – The 2023 Executive Award, a global accolade recognizing sustainability-focused leaders, has been conferred in Italy on 22 June 2023. The event celebrated the accomplishments of seven distinctive personalities, showcasing a diversity in leadership styles and industry expertise:

• Melissa Peretti, Vice President and Country Manager of Google Italy

• Francesco Durante, CEO di Sisal S.p.A.

Mara Panajia, President and CEO of Henkel Italy

• Gianni Armani, CEO of Gruppo Iren

• Carlalberto Guglielminotti, CEO of NHOA Group

• Rodolfo Bigolin, CEO of Innovo Group S.p.A.

The Damiani Family received special recognition for their unwavering commitment to nurturing Italian traditions and promoting local craftsmanship.

The selection process was facilitated by a jury comprising esteemed leaders, including Donatella Sciuto, Rector of the Politecnico di Milano; William Griffini, CEO of Carter & Benson; Paola Corna Pellegrini, former CEO of Allianz Partners; Marco Icardi, Executive Vice President of MetricStream; and Maria Elena Cappello, board member of multiple organizations, including BPER Banca.

Established in 2018 by Rossella Gargano, the Executive Award has garnered recognition in various nations including the United States, Emirates, and Singapore. The organization is also planning to expand to regions with room for significant improvements in sustainability, such as Brazil, Canada, and Taiwan.
